The only way I was able to overcome this was to use an old tablet with an older Android OS and going into my Wi Fi Settings and selecting the 2. 4GHz band Android 6. 0. 1 and later seems to have dropped that setting. Once I did and then set the Beam up using the tablet, it sync’d with my Zmodo account and now works perfectly fine on my phone. Aside from those, below are additional Pros and Cons.
